The Dominican government, in its constant concern to offer the best possible services to the country's citizens living abroad, is reviewing the cost of the various types of visa as well as other consulate-related services. Transparency in the management of fees is also being promoted.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic undertakes to publish and regularly update on its website and on the accounts of its diplomatic and consular representations throughout the world, the complete list of tariffs applied to the various consular services. Easier and more affordable procedures
By making certain services less costly, the Dominican authorities hope to facilitate the necessary administrative procedures and encourage more people to regularize their situation or apply for essential services. At the same time, better communication on the fees charged will enable everyone to know exactly what their rights are and the costs inherent in each type of request.
