At Visamundi, we love to travel, but we also love to understand the countries we visit. In the midst of our digital travels this time, we discovered the superb playlist of the show Flag! from TV5 Monde which, as its name suggests, explains the origins of flags from all over the world.
Flags are much more than just a piece of colored cloth flown on a flagpole: they can be powerful symbols of a people's identity, their struggles, traditions and culture.
Thanks to the program "Flag!", we were able to learn about the history of many flags and understand their meaning. The reports helped us discover the reasons why certain countries have chosen this or that color for their flag.
