According to Vietnamese government resolution no. 11/NQ-CP of January 15, 2025, March 1 to December 31, 2025Vietnam will exempt citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland from visa requirements as part of a program to boost tourism development in 2025.

The period of temporary residence is 45 days from the date of entry.. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure from Vietnam. You must also provide a return air ticket which proves that you have left Vietnam within 45 days.

On March 15, 2022, the government confirmed visa-free travel for citizens of 13 countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Belarus. Nationals of these countries will be exempt from visa requirements until 2028.
