The Cambodian government has announced the creation of a new digital entry system called "e-Arrival" at the end of last year. The digital process will become compulsory on July 1.
Transition period and implementation
According to the Cambodian Ministry of the Interior, a test period began on January 1, 2024 and will run until June 30, 2024. During this phase, travelers have the choice of using the new electronic system or continuing to fill in traditional paper forms. However, from July 1, 2024, the use of the electronic arrival card will become compulsory for all travelers, whether foreigners or Cambodian citizens..
