Documents needed to travel to Thailand
Passport verification
Before taking off for Thailand, make sure your travelers have a passport valid for at least 6 months after their planned entry date.
Travelers from visa-exempt countries can stay in Thailand for 30 days without special formalities (Germany, Australia...), BelgiumCanada, United Arab Emirates, Spain, United States, FranceGreece, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Oman, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, United Kingdom, SwissUkraine and many others).
Tourist visa
If travelers plan to extend their stay beyond 30 days, they may need to obtain a tourist visa or e-visa tailored to their situation. Details may vary depending on their nationality, you can check it out directly on our website.
For long-stay visas, medical insurance is compulsory, as is a certificate of insurance from a company approved by the Office of the Insurance and Health Insurance Commission of Thailand. A medical certificate may also be required.
Proof of financial resources, proof of residency in the country of residence and visas for previous trips over the last 12 months will also be required.
Travel documents
Remind travelers to have a printed copy of their return or onward ticket, as well as a confirmation of their hotel reservation. These documents may be requested upon arrival.
