Saudi Arabia recently unveiled a major new procedure for Umrah pilgrimage visas. From now on, the kingdom will offer a visa directly on arrival for citizens of several countries. It is no longer necessary to apply online.
Since August 20, 2023Citizens of the USA, UK, various European countries, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Kazakhstan, Brunei and China can now obtain Umrah visas on arrival in the Kingdom.
This new Umrah visa system can be obtained when arriving by sea, air or land, granting visitors a 90-day stay within the kingdom.
These visas are not just for short pilgrimage trips, but also for family visits and sightseeing.
To take advantage of this opportunity, eligible visitors must pay a visa fee of 117 $, including health insurance coverage.
