In an effort to boost tourism, South Korea began accepting electronic group visa applicationsalso known as e-Group Visa. This new initiative was launched on June 27, opening up a more convenient and efficient avenue for group travel to this East Asian country.
The electronic visa, called K-ETA (Korean Electronic Travel Authorization), is a travel authorization that allows visitors to enter and stay in South Korea for up to 90 days. The process has been simplified through the use of digital technology, and now requires just a few clicks to obtain a visa.
Electronic visas for groups : Benefits and procedure
The advantages of e-Group Visa are numerous. It not only saves time and energy avoiding long queues at embassies and consulates, but it also offers flexible payment options. By introducing these new electronic group visas, South Korea hopes to boost its tourism industry. This East Asian country has much to offer tourists, from bustling modern cities like Seoul to historic palaces and picturesque national parks.
