The semi-electronic visa application procedure: step by step
To benefit from the fast processing and personalized service offered by the AFCON special visa, here are the main steps to follow:
- Rendezvous "as usual" on the Internet (SNEDAI website or visa agency) to apply for a classic e-Visa and pay the visa application fee. Print your receipt.
- Make an appointment with the Consulate General by choosing your preferred day and time slot on the portal, as there are currently no slots available.... before January 24, the 2nd round of the competition ;

In his New Year's address, President Alassane Ouattara urged Ivorians to mobilize to make the CAN "a real success.a great celebration of youth, Ivorian hospitality and African fraternity". To achieve this, the government has invested 1.5 billion dollars in various infrastructure projects linked to the event, such as the construction or renovation of 6 stadiums, the creation of bridges, roads, hotels and Cités-CAN to accommodate the participating teams.
The introduction of this "semi-electronic" visa is part of a national strategy to promote Côte d'Ivoire as a destination, as stated by Siandou Fofana, Minister of Tourism and Leisure. The authorities have made a point of forgetting the fiasco of the friendly match between Côte d'Ivoire and Mali of last September 12The match was interrupted due to flooding caused by a storm at the Ebimpé stadium on the outskirts of Abidjan.
