Tourism 2022 barometer: results

A few weeks ago, we put this question to travel professionals:

What's in it for you and your customers?

We would first like to thank all the professionals who took the time to complete this survey.

Assessing travelers' feelings and new desires in the wake of the pandemic was important for understanding how the tourism sector might evolve over the coming months.

The results showed several interesting facts:

  • half of all respondents no doubt about the future of the profession and has no plans to change careers
  • according to 38,3% of them, the reopening of borders gave a moderate boost to bookings and Europe is the main destination for 86,4%ย travelers
  • among main obstacles to travellers' departure in the lead areย changing health policies for 84.5% of respondents
  • from now on, 85.9% des pros du tourisme who responded to this surveyย systematically offer insurance coverage to their customers since the health crisis
  • 33% of those surveyed are observing a new category of customer since the health crisis, including 75% individualย
