In addition to theSouth Africaother countries exempt from ETA fees areEthiopia, l'Eritrea, THE Congo-Brazzavillethe Comoros, THE Mozambique And San Marino. According to a memorandum from Kenya's Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration Department, these countries have visa abolition agreements or signed bilateral visa waiver agreements with the East African state.

The procedure for obtaining an ETA remains compulsory

Although nationals of these 7 countries are exempt from paying ETA fees, they must always obtain this document before entering Kenya. ETA is valid for 90 days and must be applied for each time the traveler enters the country. To apply, travelers should visit the digital platform www.etakenya.go.ke or contact a private agency familiar with these procedures. It is important to note that members of the East African Community (EAC) are not subject to these formalities and therefore do not need to apply for an ETA.

For other nationalities, the ETA fee is 30 USD (27 €)ย per request and are non-refundable. The procedure can be carried out entirely online via the above-mentioned website. The ETA must be obtained Before and is compulsory for all foreigners wishing to travel to Kenya, except for those mentioned above.
