It is now possible to arrive in India, via Surate International Airport. The electronic visa (e-Visa) has been introduced. On May 30, 2025, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) confirmed this new formality, which is aimed directly at travelers wishing to visit India via this airport.

The city of Surate, located in the Indian state of Gujarat, is an important industrial city in India. It is famous for its textile industry, as well as for the art of working and cutting rough diamonds. Its history is still deeply rooted in the city. You can also discover temples, mosques and beaches. It's a lesser-known destination, but can be a stopover on your way to western or southern India.
