Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of theTourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), revealed that according to the statistics of foreign tourists entering Thailand throughout 2022, from January 1 to December 31, it was found that there were 11,818,727 people, above the target of 10 million people that TAT had set itself.
According to the data, a number of travelers entered Thailand every day, ranging from 65,000 to 93,000 people.

- India with 965,994 people
- Laos with 844,958 people
- Cambodia with 591,657 people
- Singapore with 589,770 people
- South Korea with 543,337 people
- Vietnam with 471,123 people
- UNITED STATES with 462,065 people
- United Kingdom with 456,710 people
- Russia with 440,017 people
The top 5 checkpoints with the highest number of tourists are :
- Suvarnabhumi Airport with 6,092,599 people
- Phuket Airport with 1,560,665 people
- Don Mueang Airport with 972,614 people
- Sadao checkpoint with 729,976 people
