To further boost trade and tourism between Turkey and India, Turkey would like to obtain e-Visas for its citizens traveling to India.

The potential of tourism as an engine of growth

However, India represents a strong potential for the Turkish tourism sector, with aiming to attract over a million Indian travellers in the near future.
MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) activities at the heart of travel between the two countries

- Opening up the Indian market for Turkish investments in the sector
- Creation of multi-sector partnerships between Indian and Turkish companies
To facilitate these exchanges, the Turkish ambassador has asked for e-visas to be introduced for Turkish nationals visiting India. Indian citizens already have access to e-Visa when visiting Turkey (30 days on site when arriving with Pegasus Airlines Or Turkish Airlines).
