Saudi Arabia relaunches the new Umrah season. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has confirmed the opening of applications for international pilgrims. Since May 31st, Omra visa applications are accepted by the Saudi authorities. The requests had been suspended until this date, following opening of Hajj pilgrimage which took place in May.
The official Umrah calendar for the new season
To ensure the smooth flow of international arrivals and meet the program's intake targets Vision 2030, Saudi authorities have set a strict timetable. Anticipation is the key, especially for international travelers who are subject to consular or electronic processing times that can vary depending on the country where their passport was issued.

Nusuk or the e-Visa portal?

- Generate your Umrah permit (electronic document required for access to Mecca).
- Book your visit and prayer times at the Rawdah (Prophet's Mosque in Medina).
- Validate your identity via a secure QR Code system for on-site inspections.
For international pilgrims, there are two different entry procedures:
- Obtaining an entry visa : E-Visa for eligible nationalities. The e-Visa, linked to your passport number, will be issued as a tourist visa. The Umrah pilgrimage can be performed with this type of visa.
- Recording on Nusuk Umrah: The Umrah permit is issued on the basis of several packages and service providers enabling you to organize your pilgrimage (accommodation, visits...).
